We map your manuscript's route to the right journal — including where you publish at zero cost under the agreements your institution already pays for — and hand you the submission ready to go: you just upload it, in minutes.
That is exactly what ViaJournal takes off your plate.
These are founding-programme prices, discount already applied (the struck-through figure is the list price). Whatever you have paid is deducted when you move up a stop.
An illustrative reconstruction from a real case: a methods study in digital mental health, rejected several times by clinical journals. Here is what it gets at each stop, with illustrative excerpts and coverage verified on the dates shown.
The list is yours, free. The why, the order and the zero-cost route unlock with The Strategy.

The rejections were not bad luck: it was the wrong family of journals. And the zero-cost route, verified with source and date.
Order weighing fit + cost + time to first decision (where the journal publishes it); every coverage with its agreement, conditions, source and date.
Reframing in tracked changes, formatting cleaned up, target-journal references verified, and the whole package ready for YOU to upload.

The formatting clean-up — what makes your paper "look off" without you knowing why:
Changes are reversible by design: the next journal goes out in days, not months. And in review rounds we help with the strategy — you sign it.
We promise process, not acceptance: a route verified with source and date, and the best-prepared package to follow it.
Your institution already pays for agreements that may cover your entire APC. We check journal by journal, with source and date — a single avoided APC pays for the service several times over. For reference: the list APC of Scientific Reports is €2,490 (DOAJ, verified on 1 Sep 2026); the full Cycle costs €300.

| Service | What others charge | What they lack | With ViaJournal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Journal selection report | €130–190 | No rejection diagnosis, no submission order, no zero-cost layer (the largest provider excludes APCs outright) | The Strategy · €100 with all of it |

| Response to reviewers | letter check only, as an add-on | No point-by-point strategy, no reworking of the manuscript | Help included in The Cycle (rounds 1–2) |
| Full end-to-end package | €630–1,350 | The fullest packs of the largest provider reach 2 journals at most; no zero-cost layer, no rejection diagnosis | The Cycle · €300, re-submissions and rounds included |
Prices from the large international author-services providers, checked on their websites on 2 July 2026 (ECB $→€ rate); they may have changed. For the comparable pieces in the table, the large providers charge more; the whole, with the zero-cost route and the managed cycle, we have not found combined in a single service (search of July 2026).
Every delivery combines an agentic system with expert human verification. Here is what is inside — and what it would cost you to do it yourself:
| Stop | Our work | If you do it by hand |
|---|---|---|
| The Strategy — diagnosis, verified matrix, zero-cost route, waterfall | 7–10 expert h | 28–45 h · 2–4 weeks |
| The Submission — all of the above + ready-to-go package with editing and clean-up | 16–21 h | ~62–107 h · 1–2 months |
| The Cycle — typical case: + 2 re-submissions + 1 review round | ~22–31 h | ~85–145 h · 3–6 months of logistics |
Hours estimated from the real case that validated the system; we are measuring and will publish them with the pilots. There is no formatting factory behind this: there is a researcher who has lived this process from the inside.
A 2-minute form (institution, status, rejections), then you email us the manuscript.
Free: your candidate journals and how many are zero-cost with your affiliation.
The strategy? The submission? The whole cycle? Each stop deducts the previous one.
You upload it in minutes with our checklist. If rejected, the next stop goes out in days.
There is no agency and no department behind ViaJournal: there is a working researcher in mental health and academic publishing, who does the work directly and with tools built for it. We do not sign the site with a personal name, but anyone who hires us knows exactly who they are dealing with: the owner appears with full name, tax number and address in the legal notice, and signs the engagement agreement for every case.
The judgement is human; the mechanical part is automated. Searching, cross-checking, counting, verifying and reformatting are done by a system supervised step by step; which journal makes sense for your work, and why, is decided by someone who publishes in biomedical research and knows the process from the inside. Nothing goes out without a checkable source and date.
That this is one person with a system behind them has consequences worth knowing before you hire: there is a real cap on simultaneous cases, the same person always replies, and your manuscript never passes through interns or subcontractors: the same person works on it from start to finish, with the AI tool declared in the red lines. Confidentiality does not depend on a whole team keeping to it.
Tell us where your manuscript stands: we will write to ask for it (as a Word file) and, within 48–72 h of receiving it, send back your candidate journals and how many are zero-cost with your affiliation. No strings attached.
Controller: the owner named in the legal notice. We use your details only to handle your request (legal basis: your own request) and never pass them on; they are hosted, on our behalf, by the web and email providers listed in the notice. You can access, correct or delete them by writing to us. More in the legal notice and privacy policy.
